Educational Qualification:-

Note:-

Other Important information:

(A) The number of post to be filled in may increase or decrease.

(B) Prescribed Form availability:- The 4(four)-page Application Form printed in colour font will be available from all Branches/Extension counters of Tripura Gramin Bank in the State of Tripura on deposit of the prescribed Recruitment Fee through the Special Deposit Slip to the Account No. 14711 in favour of the Secretary, T.P.S.C. in the same Branch/Extension counter as a single window system without any extra charge/Commission from the candidates.

(D) Rate of Recruitment Fees: (i) Group-B Posts:- Rs. 150/= (Rupees One Hundred and fifty) only for General Candidates and Rs. 100/= (Rupees One Hundred) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.

(ii) Group-C Posts:-Rs. 100/= (Rupees One Hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs. 50/= (Rupees fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.


(E) Examination: i) The Written Examination carrying 500 marks shall consist of 1(one) compulsory paper titled “General Studies” of one hour duration carrying 100 marks and 2(two) Optional Papers in the appropriate branch of engineering of 3 hours duration carrying 200 marks each. Questions in all the papers shall be answered in English only.

The Paper “General Studies” will be of 100% MCQ type and will comprise of 50 no. of questions each carrying 2 (Two) Marks. There shall be negative marking of a one (1) mark for each wrong answer/multiple answer in the paper “General Studies”. The answers in this paper are to be encoded in the OMR Answer Sheet by Black Ball Point Pen only. MCQ part of respective Engineering Paper-I & II are also required to be answered in the supplied OMR sheets by Black Ball Point Pen only. However, there shall be no negative marking for wrong/multiple answer. Beside this, all other parts are of Conventional type.

Qualifying Marks: - 40% in each subject for UR candidates and 30% in each subject for ST/SC/PH/EX Serviceman candidates.
In exceptional circumstances/ categories, the Commission, at its discretion, shall fix the minimum qualifying marks for a paper and the minimum qualifying aggregate marks for all the papers otherwise;
Provided that in case a candidate fails to secure the qualifying marks, so fixed in any paper compulsory or optional, marks in that paper shall not be considered for calculating the aggregate.

ii) The qualified candidates will be called to appear at the Interview-cum-Personality Test carrying 50 marks.

iii) The merit panel will be prepared taking into account marks obtained in Written Examination and Interview-cum-Personality Test.

(F) Syllabus and other information: The detailed syllabus and other necessary information in respect of Combined Competitive Written Examination for direct recruitment to the said posts may be downloaded from the website of the T.P.S.C www.tpsc.gov.in.
(G) SC/ST Candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates.

(H) Applicants must be in possession of the prescribed minimum qualification(s) for the post on the closing date for submission of application as mentioned in the advertisement.


(I) Application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2(two) copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the self addressed envelope bearing postage stamp of Rs. 5/- (rupees five) is to be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM of the closing date 16.02.2016. Applicants may obtain the acknowledgement including Receipt Number from reception counter of the Commission.

The candidates, who will send application by post, are also required to attach to the application; a self-addressed Post-card indicating the Advertisement No. and name of the post applied for. Application will be acknowledged by the Commission by returning this card to the candidate after indicating the Registration No. allotted to the candidate. No separate acknowledgement other than this card will be sent to them.

(J) Any application incomplete in any form or defective or containing statements which are incorrect or false or if there is any suppression of facts, is liable to be summarily rejected. If such discrepancies are detected even at the subsequent stage, it is also liable to be rejected. No correspondence or queries from applicants will be entertained.

(K) Decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at any stage of the selection process shall be final.

(L) Assessment and evaluation of the answer scripts done by the Commission shall be final and shall not be open to scrutiny by any external authority.

Out of 1827 (RPF posts), 904 posts meant for 08 Mahila companies located in 09
Railways (i.e. one company each for CR, WR, ER, SER, NR, SR, SCR and half company each for NWR and SWR), rest of the posts are meant for all Indian Railways of Railway Protection Force. Each candidate may send only one application whether through ONLINE or OFFLINE (OFFLINE option available only for the regions mentioned in Annexure-“E” & “F”) in which she
must clearly exercise the option for recruitment either to RPF/RPSF.

a. 10% of vacancies are reserved for Ex-service women and it does not include retired/discharged personnel of Central Armed Police Forces. Age may be relaxed beyond upper limit by 3 years for UR, 6 years for OBC and 8 years for SC/ST after deduction of military service rendered (minimum of 6 months after attestation) from actual age as on the date of reckoning. In case sufficient eligible candidates are not found in Ex-Service women category for appointment, then the unfilled vacancies will be filled up from candidates of respective category on the basis of merit.

b. Vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease or even become nil depending upon the requirement of the Railway Administration. The administration also reserves the right to make changes or cancel or postpone the recruitment as well as the notified vacancies at its discretion at any time and such decision will be binding on all concerned.

c. These posts have not been identified as suitable for persons with disabilities and hence the same has been exempted from the purview of section 33 and 47 of the persons with Disabilities [Equal opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation] act, 1995 by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.  

d. The selected candidates will be liable to serve anywhere in India in Railway Protection Force or Railway Protection Special Force. Those who apply for RPF may be allotted to any Zonal Railway, on the basis of available vacancies, their merit and their preference.

2. PAY SCALE: - Pay Band of `.5200-20200 + Grade Pay `.2,000/- plus usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees from time to time.

3. INELIGIBILITY:-No person who has entered into or contracted a marriage with a person having a spouse living or who, having a spouse living has entered into or contracted a marriage with any person shall be eligible for appointment in RPF / RPSF.

4. ELIGIBILITY :-

[a] Citizenship : Must be a citizen of India

[b] Educational Qualification: Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board / University. Educational certificate other than State Board/Central Board should be accompanied with Government of India notification declaring that such qualifications is equivalent to Matriculation/10th pass for services under Central Government.
Candidates must possess the requisite qualification before the last date of submission of application.

COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION-2016.

File No. 3/2/2016-P&P-II Staff Selection Commission will hold on
27.03.2016 (Sunday) a Limited Departmental Competitive Examination
for recruitment to vacancies in Lower Division Grade reserved for
regularly appointed Group ‘C’ Staff in the Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-in (i)
Central Secretariat Clerical Service (ii) Armed Forces Headquarters
Clerical Service (iii) Central Passport Organisation in Ministry of External
Affairs (iv) Central Vigilance Commission Clerical Service (v) Ministry of
Railway(Railway Board) and (vi) Ministry of Commerce and Industry
(DGS&D). Only eligible employees for each of the above cadres will be
considered for appointment in respective vacancies in the cadres. The
examination will be held at New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Allahabad,
Chennai, Bangalore, Guwahati Chandigarh and Raipur. There will be no
Centre at any Indian Mission abroad. A candidate serving at an Indian
Mission abroad will have to appear in this examination from any of the
Examination Centre, mentioned above at his/her own expense.

2. NUMBER OF VACANCIES:- The number of vacancies to
be filled up on the basis of this examination will be as per the vacancies to
be intimated to the Commission by each of the Cadre Authority
participating in this examination.

3. Pay Scale: - Pay Band-I(Rs.5200-20200/-) with Grade Pay of
Rs.1900/-

4. CONDITION OF ELIGIBILITY:- Any permanent or regularly
appointed Group ‘C’ employee in the Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- in any of
the above mentioned Services/Cadres will be eligible to appear for
vacancies existing only in their respective Services/Cadres. They are also
to satisfy the following conditions in order to be eligible to appear in the
examination.

(i) EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: - As on 01.01.2016, the
candidate must have passed 12th Standard examination from a recognized
Board or equivalent.

Note:- Candidates who do not possess at least the minimum education
qualification as on 01.01.2016 are not eligible for applying for the
examination.


(ii) LENGTH OF SERVICE:- As on 01.01.2016, the candidates
must have rendered not less than three years’ regular service as a Group-C
employee with Grade Pay of Rs.1800.
Note-I: A Group ‘C’ employee with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- who is on
deputation to ex-Cadre post with the approval of the Competent authority shall be
eligible to be admitted to the examination , if otherwise eligible.
Note.II: A Group ‘C’ employee with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/- who has been
appointed to an Ex-Cadre post or to another service on transfer and continues
to have a lien in the said Group ‘C’ post for the time being shall also be eligible
to be admitted to the examination , if otherwise eligible.
(iii) AGE LIMIT: - Not more than 45 years of age on

01.01.2016. This age limit is relaxable upto a maximum of 5 years for SC/ST
candidates.

Provided that the upper age limit may be relaxed in respect of such categories of
the persons as may be notified from time to time in this behalf by the Central
Government to the extent and subject to the conditions notified in respect of each
category.

5. SELECTION OF CENTRE AND ADDRESS TO WHICH
APPLICATION TO BE SENT:- A candidate must select only one of the
Centres mentioned in Para-1 above for appearing in the written part of the
examination. Request for change of Examination Centre will not be allowed
under any circumstances. Candidate must send his/her application to Regional
Director (NR), Staff Selection Commission, Block No. 12, CGO Complex,
Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110504, through the Head of his/her Department/Office
where he/she is working so as to reach the Commission by the stipulated Closing
Date (12.02.2016).

Note-I: Cadre Authorities participating in the examination must forward the
duly completed application form of the concerned eligible candidate to the
Commission before the Closing Date (12.02.2016) stipulated in the Notice.
Applications forwarded by any Cadre Authority after the Closing date
(12.02.2016) will not be accepted by the Commission. Such application if
received by the Commission will be rejected forthwith.
Note-II:In case, the Commission receives less than Ten (10) applications from
eligible candidates for appearing in the examination at a particular centre, such
candidates may be directed by the Commission to appear from the Delhi Centre at
their own expenses and risk.
