Name Of the Posts And No. of Vacancies:
Male Constables : 6252 (District Police Cadre – 3751, Armed Police Cadre – 2501)

Age Limit:
18 to 28 Years as on 1st January 2016. Age relaxation - 05 Years for SC / ST and OBC; 03 Years for Ex-Servicemen.

Pay Scale:
Pay Band of Rs.10300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.3200/-, and other allowances as admissible.

Educational Qualifications:
(a) 10 (Matric) with +2 or its equivalent from a recognized Education Board / University.
(b) The candidate must have passed Matriculation examination with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language.

Physical Standards:
5 feet 7 inches for Male; 5 feet 3 inches for Female.

Application Fee:
Rs. 400/- for General (UR) Candidates; Rs. 100/- for SC / ST / OBC Category Candidates; No fee for Ex-Servicemen candidates. For depositing the fees, the candidate would have an option of either depositing the same online through Net Banking / Credit / Debit card payment or the candidate can deposit the fees offline manually by taking the print-out of the Fee Challan Form, which will be available online once the unique Registration ID is generated. The closing date for deposit of admission fee is 23rd June 2016.

Selection Process:
Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Screening Test (PST) and Interview cum Personality Test.

The Range / Commissionerate Recruitment Boards shall conduct the recruitments for male candidates at each Range / Commissionerate headquarters and the Zonal Recruitment Boards shall conduct the recruitment for Female candidates at each Zonal Headquarters. The PMT and the PST of a candidate shall be conducted on a single day, and the entire process shall be got video-graphed. The candidates will apply at a particular Range/ Zonal/ Commissionerate Recruitment Centre for their Recruitment Tests to be conducted, which will include the PMT, PST and the Interview-cum-Personality Test.

WBPSC Recruitment Examination 2016, e-Admit Card Download For Junior Engineers by 07/06/16

Public Service Commission, West Bengal has announced the Junior Engineers (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical) Recruitment Examination, 2016 on Sunday, the 19th June, 2016. The e-Admit Cards for the examination will be uploaded by the Commission on its website http://www.pscwbonline.gov.in by 07.06.2016 for the convenience of the admitted candidates.

The candidates are advised to download their e-Admit Cards for the examination and take a printout thereof on and from 07.06.2016. The admitted candidates shall have to produce the printout of their e-Admit Cards at the allotted venue for appearing at the specified examination.

In case the photograph is not visible or available on the e-Admit Cards, candidates are directed to carry identical photographs along with proof of identity such as Madhyamik or equivalent examination pass certificate/admit card which bears photograph of its rightful owner or Passport or pan Card or UID No. Card (AADHAAR) or EPIC (Voter Identity Card) or Driving Licence and the printout of e-Admit Card at the venue of the Examination. No paper Admit Card will be issued for this examination by the Commission and no such card will be sent to the candidates by post or will be available from the Commission’s office.
