Educational Qualification:
Clerk: The candidate must be graduate i.e. B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. or equivalent degree from recognized University. The 'Sahityalankar Degree' obtained from Hindi Vidyapeeth, Deoghar or any other such degree obtained from such other institution shall not be treated as valid qualification to be equivalent to Graduation. Computer proficiency shall be necessary qualification.
Stenographer: The candidate must be graduate i.e. B.A/B.Sc./B.Com or equivalent degree from recognized University. The 'Sahityalankar Degree' obtained from Hindi Vidyapeeth, Deoghar or any other such degree obtained from such other institution shall not be treated as valid qualification to be equivalent to Graduation. The candidates must have knowledge of Stenography in English/Hindi. The minimum speed in stenography shall be at the rate of 80 words per minute in English and 60 words per minute in Hindi with typing speed at the rate of 45 words per minute in English and 35 words per minute in Hindi on Computer. Computer proficiency shall be necessary qualification. A certificate in Stenography issued by an institute recognized by Central/State Government is essential.
Deposition Writer - cum - Typist - cum - Clerk: The candidate must be Graduate Degree i.e. B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com. or equivalent degree from recognized University. The 'Sahityalankar Degree' obtained from Hindi Vidyapeeth, Deoghar or any other such degree obtained from such other institution shall not be treated as valid qualification to be equivalent to Graduation. The candidate must have knowledge of Hindi or English Typing. The minimum speed should be 30 words per minute in Hindi and 40 words per minute in English on Computer. Computer proficiency shall be necessary qualification. A certificate in Hindi or English Typing issued by an institute recognized by Central/State Government is essential. Candidate who have been knowledge of both English and Hindi typing will be given weightage.
Selection Process:
Clerk: The committee may organize online test or objective test for screening the candidates according to the number of applications received for the post. Thereafter, a written test shall be conducted followed by viva-voce test, of the candidates qualified in the written test. The written test shall be of 90 marks and viva-voce of 10 marks. The screening as well as the written test shall consist of the following subject.
Steno: After scrutinizing the application for selection to the post of Stenographer and online shorthand and typing test of both English and Hindi followed by an online test of English / Hindi of 90 marks only may be conducted and on the basis of above said tests, interview of 10 marks on only qualified candidates may be conducted for appointment to the post of English and Hindi Stenographer.
Deposition Writer - cum - Typist - cum - Clerk : After scrutinizing the application for selection to the post of Deposition Writer-cum-Typist-cum-Clerk after an online typing test followed by an online objective type test as per the syllabus of Clerk grade post of 90 marks may be conducted and on the basis of above said tests, interview of 10 marks of only qualified candidates may be conducted for appointment to the post of Deposition Writer-cum-Typist-cum-Clerk.
Exam Fee: 500/- for General and OBC Category Candidates. However, the candidates belonging to SC and ST category as well as physically disabled shall pay 250/- only. The fee can be made through Bank Challan in SBI, Patna Account No. 35411934162 of Convenor, Co-ordination Committee.

Educational Qualification:-
(a) For Junior Engineer, TES Grade-V(A) & Junior Engineer Grade-I(Group-B Gazetted), a candidate must have at least a Degree in an appropriate Branch of Engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent academic qualification.
(b) For Junior Engineer, TES Grade-V(B) & Junior Engineer-Grade-II (Group-C Non-Gazetted), a candidate must have a Diploma in an appropriate Branch of Engineering or its equivalent academic qualification from recognized Institutions.

Age:-18 years to 40 years as on 16.02.2016. Relaxable by 5(five) years in case of ST/ SC/ Physically Handicapped persons and Govt. Servants, provided that the Govt. servants belonging to SC / ST/ Physically Handicapped persons shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 (five) years available to them.

Note:-

(A) During submission of Application Form, the candidate need not enclose any self attested certificate. Candidates qualifying in the Written Examination will be asked to submit all relevant self attested certificates as noted in the application form to the Reception Counter of the TPSC in due course failing which the candidature will be summarily rejected.

(B) The applicant should clearly indicate the Name of the Post, Branch and his/her order of preference indicating item no.
The last date of receiving application is 16.02.2016. The application(s) received after the closing date will not be entertained.

Other Important information:

(A) The number of post to be filled in may increase or decrease.

(B) Prescribed Form availability:- The 4(four)-page Application Form printed in colour font will be available from all Branches/Extension counters of Tripura Gramin Bank in the State of Tripura on deposit of the prescribed Recruitment Fee through the Special Deposit Slip to the Account No. 14711 in favour of the Secretary, T.P.S.C. in the same Branch/Extension counter as a single window system without any extra charge/Commission from the candidates.

(C) In addition, the said prescribed Form printed in colour font (A4 size 90 GSM paper) can also be down loaded from the Website http://www.tpsc.gov.in and in that case, the prescribed Recruitment Fee is to be paid to the Account No.31176521319 of the State Bank of India (core banking branches) in favour of the Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission. The Bank deposit Receipt is to be affixed with the filled in application form in the specified Box on the 2nd page of the form.

(D) Rate of Recruitment Fees: (i) Group-B Posts:- Rs. 150/= (Rupees One Hundred and fifty) only for General Candidates and Rs. 100/= (Rupees One Hundred) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.

(ii) Group-C Posts:-Rs. 100/= (Rupees One Hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs. 50/= (Rupees fifty) only for ST/SC/ BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.


(E) Examination: i) The Written Examination carrying 500 marks shall consist of 1(one) compulsory paper titled “General Studies” of one hour duration carrying 100 marks and 2(two) Optional Papers in the appropriate branch of engineering of 3 hours duration carrying 200 marks each. Questions in all the papers shall be answered in English only.

The Paper “General Studies” will be of 100% MCQ type and will comprise of 50 no. of questions each carrying 2 (Two) Marks. There shall be negative marking of a one (1) mark for each wrong answer/multiple answer in the paper “General Studies”. The answers in this paper are to be encoded in the OMR Answer Sheet by Black Ball Point Pen only. MCQ part of respective Engineering Paper-I & II are also required to be answered in the supplied OMR sheets by Black Ball Point Pen only. However, there shall be no negative marking for wrong/multiple answer. Beside this, all other parts are of Conventional type.

Qualifying Marks: - 40% in each subject for UR candidates and 30% in each subject for ST/SC/PH/EX Serviceman candidates.
In exceptional circumstances/ categories, the Commission, at its discretion, shall fix the minimum qualifying marks for a paper and the minimum qualifying aggregate marks for all the papers otherwise;
Provided that in case a candidate fails to secure the qualifying marks, so fixed in any paper compulsory or optional, marks in that paper shall not be considered for calculating the aggregate.

ii) The qualified candidates will be called to appear at the Interview-cum-Personality Test carrying 50 marks.

iii) The merit panel will be prepared taking into account marks obtained in Written Examination and Interview-cum-Personality Test.

(F) Syllabus and other information: The detailed syllabus and other necessary information in respect of Combined Competitive Written Examination for direct recruitment to the said posts may be downloaded from the website of the T.P.S.C www.tpsc.gov.in.
(G) SC/ST Candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates.

(H) Applicants must be in possession of the prescribed minimum qualification(s) for the post on the closing date for submission of application as mentioned in the advertisement.


(I) Application in the prescribed form duly filled in by the candidate and 2(two) copies of recent stamp size photographs of the candidate affixed on the Application and Admit Card along with the self addressed envelope bearing postage stamp of Rs. 5/- (rupees five) is to be submitted to the Reception Counter of the TPSC Secretariat by 5.00 PM of the closing date 16.02.2016. Applicants may obtain the acknowledgement including Receipt Number from reception counter of the Commission.

The candidates, who will send application by post, are also required to attach to the application; a self-addressed Post-card indicating the Advertisement No. and name of the post applied for. Application will be acknowledged by the Commission by returning this card to the candidate after indicating the Registration No. allotted to the candidate. No separate acknowledgement other than this card will be sent to them.

(J) Any application incomplete in any form or defective or containing statements which are incorrect or false or if there is any suppression of facts, is liable to be summarily rejected. If such discrepancies are detected even at the subsequent stage, it is also liable to be rejected. No correspondence or queries from applicants will be entertained.

(K) Decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate at any stage of the selection process shall be final.

(L) Assessment and evaluation of the answer scripts done by the Commission shall be final and shall not be open to scrutiny by any external authority.
(M) Date, time and venue of Examination/ Interview cum Personality Test will be notified in due course.
