  • For the post of Sweeper/ Gardener, the candidates must have capacity of reading and writing.

1) For Constable (GD) Civil Police (Male / Female) only):


I) Male Candidates: Height — 5.5 ft (5.3 ft for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded) — 31 cm ; Chest (expanded) — 33 cm
II) Female Candidates: Height — 5.2 ft (5 ft for ST candidates)
III) For APST Male /Female of trip / Changlang / Longding District: Height-5 ft.

2) For Constable (Band / Bugler) IRBN (Male):


I) Male Candidates; Height – 165 cm (160 cm for ST candidates); Chest (unexpanded)- 79 cm; Chest (expanded)- 84 cm
II)  For APST  of trip / Changlang / Longding District: Height-152 cm

Candidates’ Selection:


Selection of the candidates will be through Written Test / Physical Eligibility Test / Physical Standard Test / Trade Test / Viva-voce.
Note: APST candidate applying in a particular district should be Permanent Residence of the concerned district.

Application Fee:


Candidates must pay Rs.40/- (Rs.10/- for APST candidates) as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Bank only by means of Fee Payment Challan. Fee Challan can be downloaded from the official website of Arunachal Pradesh Police. See officially released advertisement for more details.

1. Interested and eligible candidates may apply on prescribed application format (See PDF file below) along with attested copies of testimonials in support of Educational Qualification, Caste, Age, Experience certificate (if applicable) and any other relevant documents.
2. Candidates belonging to APST category should submit their application at office of the Superintendent  of Police of respective Recruitment Centers.
3. Candidates must also enclose 01 Self-Addressed envelope with the Application Form affixed with postage stamp of Rs.5/-
