West Bengal Staff Selection Commission (WBSSC) Dept. of Agriculture has published recruitment notification 2016 and Advt. No. 07/ WBSSC/ 2016. Invited online applications from the eligible candidates for filling up the recruitment of 28 Meteorological Assistant (Exam Code: MA-16) vacancies. Candidates can apply in the prescribed format through online apply from on and before 24.05.2016. Age Limit : Not below 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 1st January 2016.
Pay Scale : Pay Band – 2 (Rs. 5400/- – ` 25200/-) Grade Pay Rs. 2900/-
Educational Qualification :
A pass in Higher Secondary Examination or Uchcha Madhyamik Examination in the Science stream with Mathematics and Physics having at least 50% marks in Science subjects or with Geography (Pure) as one of the subjects having at least 50% marks therein. Must have the ability to read, write and speak in Bengali (not applicable to those candidates whose mother tongue is Nepali) as per Finance Department (Audit Branch) Notification No. 10725-F dt. 13.11.2002 read with Finance Department (Audit Branch) Notification No. 1243-F (P) dt. 02.03.2016.
Examination Fee:
1. Rs. 220/- The Fee paid in respect of online payment through payment getway using Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/ Net banking and any bank will be charged an additional amount Rs. 5/- only for utilizing payment getway service. SC/ST candidates pay only processing fees Rs. 20/-.
2. No, exemption of fees is available to the SC/ ST/ BC-A/ BC-B candidates of other states.
How To Apply:
1. Candidates applying through the Tathya Mitra kendra will have to bear an additional charge of Rs. 20/- for filling up of the form and uploading the same along with scanned copies of candidate's photograph and signature and making online payment of Examination Fees and/ of processing Fees received from the applicant.
2. Once application is successfully submitted after payment and transaction ID is generated, there is no need to apply again
