Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) under the Ministry of Power, Govt. of India has published contractual recruitment notification and  Advt No.PLR/Walk-in-Interview/80/2016/(Pt-II)/47. Invited online application from eligible candidates for the recruitment of 27 Medical Services posts as well as for Mining Service posts on contract basis for the period of upto One year. Pay Scale :
1. General Duty Medical Officer=>Consolidated Pay of Rs.54,985/- (Fixed)
2. Medical Specialist (Part-time)=>Consolidated Honorarium of Rs.15000/- per month. In addition, Rs. 500/- will be paid for emergency call beyond duty hours with limit of  3000/-
3. Junior Pharmacist Grade II=>Consolidated Pay of Rs. 14,697/- (Fixed)
4. Junior Nurse Grade II=> Consolidated Pay of Rs.16,250/- (Fixed)
5. Junior X-Ray Technician=> Consolidated Pay of Rs.16,250/- (Fixed)
6. Overman=> Consolidated Pay of Rs.30,000 per month. For pensioners, the Consolidated Pay + Pension + Dearness Pension should not exceed the Last Pay + Dearness Pay drawn
7. Mining Sirdar=> Consolidated Pay of Rs.28,000 per month. For pensioners, the Consolidated Pay + Pension + Dearness Pension should not exceed the Last Pay + Dearness Pay drawn

Age Limit: Maximum 65 years of age as on 30/06/2016 for all categories (General/OBC/SC/ST/PWD) of candidates.

Educational Qualification and Experience:
1. General Duty Medical Officer=> MBBS Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and obtained from a  recognized  Medical College/University & one year experience as a Medical practitioner after internship.
2. Medical Specialist (Part-time)=> MD/ MS in the respective discipline from a College / Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI). 01 year experience in the respective discipline in a Hospital after completing MD / MS.
3. Junior Pharmacist Gr. II=> Higher Secondary (Science) or equivalent with 2 years Diploma course in Pharmacy from recognized Institution. Registration with Pharmacist Council of any State or Central. Candidate should have passed Dresser-ship examination or 2 years Post-Qualification experience in Dressing and working in a reputed Hospital/ Nursing Home. In case of candidates holding B.Pharma Degree, the post qualification experience for one year in Dressing will be required.
4. Junior Nurse Gr. II=> Higher Secondary (Science) or equivalent with Diploma in General Nursery and Midwifery.
5. Junior X-Ray Technician=> H.S (Science)/ equivalent with Diploma/Certificate in X-Ray Technician /Radiography course from a recognized Institute & one year experience.
6. Overman => Valid Overman Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS.
7. Mining Sirdar=> Valid Mining Sirdar Certificate of Competency issued by DGMS.

Selection Process: Walk-in Interview / Skill Test.

How to Apply:
Before appearing for the Walk-in-Interview / Skill Test, The candidates need to fill up Online Application Form in DVC website from 13/06/2016 at 11:00 AM to 04/07/2016 till 24:00 Hours.
The Candidates need to bring a print out of the Online Application Form duly filled in enclosing all supporting documents in ORIGINAL along with one set of self-attested Xerox copies of supporting documents at Interview venue for verification. The Candidates are required to bring all documents in ORIGINAL as well as XEROX COPIES.
