Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess 8th/ 10th/ 12th under the 10+2 system with science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) for Fresher candidates and 8th/ 10th/ 12th under the 10+2 system with ITI in relevant trade for EX. ITI candidates. Refer official notification for post wise details.
Age Limit:
Candidates age should be between 15 to 20 years for Welder, Carpenter, Painter and Upholster, 15 to 22 years for Fitter, Electrician and R&AC, 15 to 24 years for Medical Laboratory Technician as on 01.10.2016. Age relaxation benefits to the reserved candidates will be applicable as per govt rules.
Application Fee:
Candidates have to pay of Rs. 100/- through Crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) drawn in favour of “Workshop Personnel Officer, Carriage & Wagon Works, Southern Railway, Perambur, Chennai – 600023” Payable at Chennai. and No fee for SC/ ST/ PWD and Women candidates.
Selection Process:
