Educational Qualification:
For Specialist Officer (IT): Candidates should have completed MCA/BE/B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc in Computer Science/Information Technology/Electronics & Communication with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university/Institution with 2 years of experience in Software Development or 2 years of experience in Network Administration.
For Specialist Officer (Credit): Graduation degree in any discipline with 60% marks from any university/institution.

For Specialist Officer (IT): 28 years
For Specialist Officer (Credit): 32 years
