Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has published Recruitment Notification
2016. Invited online applications from the eligible candidates for the
recruitment of 19 Officers in Grade 'B' (General) posts for Department
of Economic and Policy Research & Department of Statistics and
Information Management on temporary basis. Interested eligible

Eligible Criteria For RBI Recruitment 2016:
Educational Qualification:
Candidates those who are applying for post no. 1 should have Master's Degree in Economics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University/ Institute or Doctorate Degree in Economics with Master's Degree in any subject with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University/ Institute, for post no. 2 should have Master's Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IITBombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years or Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an institute of repute with relevant experience.
Age Limit:
Candidates those who are applying for these posts their age limit should be in between 21 years to 30 years (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02-07-1986 and not later than 01-07-1995) and 32 and 34 years for M.Phil and Ph.D qualification candidates as on 01-07-2016. However the upper age limit relaxation will be given by 3 years to OBC, by 5 years to SC/ ST, by 10 years to PWD (General), by 13 years to PWD (OBC) and 15 years for PWD (SC/ ST).
Application Fee:
Applicants are required to pay the application fee of Rs. 600/- for General/ OBC and Rs. 100/- for SC/ ST/ PWD through online by using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
