Directorate General Border Security Force, Communication & IT Directorate, Border Security Force (BSF) has published Recruitment Notification 2016. Invited online applications from the eligible candidates for the recruitment of 622 ASI (RM) and HC (RO) vacant Posts. Interested eligible applicants can apply online in the prescribed format from 16-06-2016 at 09:00 Hrs to 15-07-2016 at 24:00 Hrs. 622-Vacancy Details of BSF Recruitment 2016:

Name of the Posts and No. of Vacancies Details:
1. Asst Sub Insp. (RM): 152 Posts [UR-76, OBC-41, SC-23 & ST-12 ].
2. Head Constable (Radio Operator): 470 Posts [UR-353, OBC-30, SC-52 & ST-65 ].

Educational Qualification:
Applicants those who are applying for the Posts of Asst Sub Insp. (RM) should have passed Matric with 3 year Diploma in Radio & TV Technology/ Electronics/ Telecommunication/ Computer/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering/ Domestic Appliances from any institution recognised by the Central Government/ State Government and for the Posts of Head Constable (Radio Operator) should have passed Matriculation/ equivalent & 2 year Industrial Training Institute Certificate in Radio & TV/ Electronics/ Intermediate/ l0+2/ equivalent with physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a recognised Board or Institution.

Age Limit: 18-25 Years & Age Relaxation is applicable for different categories as per the rules of the Government.

Application Fee:
Applicants are required to pay the application fee of Rs. 50/- for general & OBC by means of demand Draft drawn in favour of Inspector General/ DIG/ Comdt payable at respective SBI/ post office. However there is no application fee for SC/ ST/ BSF serving personnel & female candidates.

Selection Procedure:
Candidates' selection will be made on the basis of two phases
1. First Phase:
a. Written Examination (OMR Based Screening Test)
b. Descriptive Test
2. Second Phase:
a. Preliminary Screening Test
b. Physical Efficiency Test
c. Verification of Original Documents
d. Final Medical Examination by BSF Medical Officer

How to Apply:
All eligible and interested candidates those who possess all the requisite qualifications/ conditions can apply online through the official website rectt.bsf.gov.in from 16-06-2016 at 09:00 hrs to 15-07-2016 at 24: 00 hrs and candidates are required to send Hard Copy of online submitted application along with a copy of NOC, Disc/ Vig certificate & med category shape-I, original Bank Draft to recruitment centers by superscribing on top of the envelope in bold letters with "Application For The Post of ASI/RM or HC(RO)" to the concerned choosen recruitment centre within 15 days from last date of online application.
